Spot Rotonda, Thessaloniki

Spot Rotonda is a practical base in Thessaloniki, Greece, set at 99 Filippou for travellers who want to move easily between historic sights and everyday neighbourhood life. The property focuses on comfort and hygiene, with non-smoking rooms and non-smoking throughout, plus guest rooms disinfected between stays and cleaning standards designed to be effective against Coronavirus. If you prefer a lighter touch during your visit, you can opt out of cleaning services, and the room is sealed after cleaning. Air conditioning helps you settle quickly after a warm day in the city, and free wired internet makes it straightforward to plan routes or catch up on messages.

Guests often mention the calm, orderly feel that comes from the house rules and the attention to sanitation, with some noting that the sealed-after-cleaning approach adds reassurance. Others appreciate the simple, no-drama setup: a place to rest well and then head out on foot. From here, it’s about 1.0 km to the Rotunda and Arch of Galerius, roughly 1.5 km to Aristotelous Square, and around 1.8 km to the Thessaloniki Archaeological Museum, so you can build a full day of landmarks without relying on taxis. The White Tower is about 2.0 km away, ideal for a longer evening walk when the streets feel more relaxed.

Spot Rotonda is best for solo explorers and couples who value a clean, quiet stay and want a central Thessaloniki address with reliable wired internet rather than extra frills.
