Olive Tree Cottage, Virós

Olive Tree Cottage is a quiet holiday home in Viros, Greece, set on Ethniki Odos Kerkiras Achiliou, a practical base for exploring the south-east side of Corfu. With a guest rating of 8.5/10 from nine reviews, it’s the kind of stay people choose when they want calm evenings and straightforward comfort rather than constant activity. Travelers mention the value of having free WiFi and air conditioning for warmer days, plus the ease of private parking when you’re moving around the island. The garden and BBQ facilities also come up in guest feedback as a simple way to enjoy time outdoors without leaving the property.

The surrounding area is best for sightseeing by car or short drives: Achilleion Palace is about 3.1 km away, while Pontikonisi sits roughly 3.7 km from the cottage. If you’re planning a broader day trip into Corfu town, you’ll find the main sights are within reach, but this location still feels more countryside than city center. The cottage’s non-smoking environment helps keep the stay comfortable for everyone, and pets are allowed, which is useful for guests traveling with animals.

This is best for couples and small families who prefer a home-like rhythm—cooking, relaxing in the garden, and heading out to landmarks when the light is right—while still having reliable essentials like free parking and WiFi to support day-to-day travel.
