Laodamia Hotel, Volos

Laodamia Hotel is a 4-star stay in Volos, Greece, positioned on 2a, Diamadopoulou Str. in Nea Anchialos, a practical base for beach days and short trips around the Pagasetic Gulf. The hotel’s guest feedback averages 7.2/10 based on a small set of reviews, so it’s best approached as a comfortable option with a few consistent strengths rather than a universally acclaimed property. Guests commonly mention the ease of getting started with express check-in/check-out and the helpful, 24-hour front desk when plans shift. A complimentary breakfast is included, which suits early departures and relaxed mornings alike. For downtime between outings, there’s a terrace for fresh air, plus fitness facilities for keeping routines on track.

If you’re visiting for business, the meeting rooms add structure to a work trip, and the concierge service can help you coordinate what to do next. Couples and solo travelers also tend to like the straightforward setup: arrive, settle in, and head out. Alikes Beach is about 2 km away for a quick seaside reset, while the Tsalapatas Brickworks Museum is roughly 3 km from the hotel for a cultural detour. With Volos city center around 20 km and the port about 22 km, you can balance quiet time near the coast with the option to explore the city when you want more dining and walking.

Overall, Laodamia Hotel fits travelers who want a calm, amenity-led base—breakfast, WiFi, and on-site support—without needing to be in the middle of the busiest areas.
