Should You Book Agriturismo Longetti?
Worth considering if you want a family- and pet-friendly agriturismo base near Assisi’s main sights by car. With a 6.7/10 guest rating, it’s a decent countryside option, but it’s not the top pick for travelers who strongly prioritize consistently excellent reviews.
Best For
- Families needing kid-friendly amenities like kid meals and family rooms, plus a calm countryside setting
- Pet owners traveling with dogs or other pets, since pets are explicitly allowed
- Travelers who prefer free parking and an easy car-based itinerary to nearby landmarks like Rocca Maggiore and Santa Maria sopra Minerva
- Guests who want a quieter stay with a swimming pool and terrace while still being within short driving distance of Assisi’s key attractions
Not Ideal For
- Travelers expecting a highly walkable location to the listed attractions, since the nearby sights are described as short drives away rather than walkable
- Guests who are sensitive to overall review consistency, given the 6.7/10 rating from 182 reviews
- Travelers who require on-site parking beyond the free parking option, since offsite parking is only mentioned as discounted rates available
What to Expect
You arrive at Agriturismo Longetti in a countryside-feeling setting outside the center of Assisi, with the practical benefit of free parking. Mornings typically start with time to enjoy the property’s outdoor terrace and pool area before heading out by car toward nearby landmarks like Santa Maria sopra Minerva and Rocca Maggiore. Even with the focus on relaxation, the location still supports day trips to major sites such as the Papal Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi and Eremo delle Carceri. Guest feedback suggests a welcoming stay for families and pet owners, but the overall 6.7/10 rating indicates it may not meet the expectations of travelers seeking consistently outstanding service or comfort.
