Should You Book Locanda Alla Stazione?
Consider booking only if you’re traveling by car and value free parking, but the low guest rating (5/10 from 20 reviews) is a significant red flag. The trade-off looks like convenience and family-friendliness versus overall guest satisfaction.
Best For
- Road-trippers who want free parking and an easy base in Marano
- Families traveling with children who prefer a non-smoking property
- Travelers who prioritize straightforward, practical stays with staff following local safety protocols
- Guests who are comfortable with offsite parking options (with discounted rates available) and flexible cleaning preferences
Not Ideal For
- Travelers who rely heavily on consistently strong guest reviews, given the 5/10 rating
- People expecting a highly walkable, central sightseeing area, since the listed major attractions are 20–30 km away
- Light sleepers or guests who are sensitive to any potential noise/comfort issues, since the provided data doesn’t clarify room soundproofing and the rating suggests mixed experiences
What to Expect
You arrive to a non-smoking, family-oriented property in Marano, with check-in available from 12:00 PM until late evening and a straightforward check-out at 11:00 AM. The area feels like a practical base for road travel rather than a dense tourist core, and you’ll likely plan day trips toward major sights such as Frari Basilica and Scuola Grande di San Rocco, both about 20 km away. Morning routines are simple: you can expect cleaning and hygiene measures between stays, plus hand sanitizer in key areas. Based on the 20-review 5/10 score, experiences appear mixed, so it’s worth tempering expectations and confirming details that matter to you before booking.
