Apartamento Mar, Alicante

Apartamento Mar in Alicante, Spain is a 3-star apartment-style stay for travellers who prefer space and a home-like rhythm over hotel routines. Based in the city, it works well if you want to move easily between the beach and the historic centre, with Postiguet Beach about 1 km away and the Santa Bárbara Castle roughly 2 km from the property. The area also puts you within reach of Mercado Central de Alicante (around 1 km), where you can browse local produce and stop for a snack before continuing your day on foot. Guests commonly mention that the apartments feel spacious enough to unwind after sightseeing, and that the layout suits both short breaks and longer stays when you want to settle in rather than constantly eat out. Solo travellers often like the independence of having your own space, while couples appreciate the calmer pace that comes with apartment living. Families tend to value the practical, lived-in feel and the ability to plan meals around their schedule. Reviewers also highlight how easy it is to connect to the wider region thanks to Alicante Train Station being about 2 km away, which helps if you’re planning day trips. One practical point to note is that the hotel’s city setting means you’re close to the bustle of central Alicante, so expect typical urban activity in the surrounding streets. If you’re planning a walking-focused itinerary—market mornings, promenade strolls, and evenings near the harbour—Apartamento Mar is a straightforward base that matches the way many visitors describe their time in Alicante.
