Hotel Condal, Barcelona Overview
Hotel Condal is a 3-star hotel in Barcelona, Spain. Rated 7.6 out of 10 based on 5,083 guest reviews.
Hotel Condal is a 3-star base in Barcelona, Spain, set on Boqueria, 23 in the central Gothic Quarter area where you can step out into the city’s busiest sights. With check-in from 3:00 PM and check-out at 12:00 PM, it suits travelers who want flexible days for sightseeing rather than long stays in the room. The hotel’s air conditioning helps you cool down after walking, and non-smoking rooms make it easier to settle in comfortably. Practical touches like lift access, luggage storage, and a tour desk support guests who arrive with plans and need help shaping an itinerary.
Location matters here: La Boqueria Market is about 0.2 km away, and Barcelona Cathedral is roughly 0.6 km from the property, so early starts and late returns are simple. Guests also commonly mention the walkability toward the Gothic Quarter and onward to El Born, with both areas reachable on foot.
Reviewers rate the hotel 7.6/10 from more than 5,000 guests, and many comments point to the value of being close to major attractions while still having straightforward, comfortable basics. Families and solo explorers often highlight the convenience of nearby landmarks and the ease of organizing day trips through the tour desk. Road-trip friendly travelers appreciate having private check-in/check-out and shuttle service available for additional planning support, while the lack of on-site parking is something to factor in if you’re driving into the city.
Overall, Hotel Condal works best for visitors who prioritize location, air-conditioned comfort, and a no-fuss setup for exploring Barcelona on foot.
