Casilla Soleá Rural, Carcabuey

Casilla Soleá Rural is a countryside stay in Carcabuey, Spain, suited to travelers who want space, calm, and an easy base for exploring the Subbéticas region. Set on Calle Priego (63 Calle Priego), the property works well for groups that prefer to live together, with room to spread out and settle in after a day outdoors. Reviews are strongly positive, with guests highlighting a comfortable, well-kept atmosphere and a smooth, attentive experience; one common theme is that the home feels practical for real family routines rather than just a showpiece.

Inside, air conditioning helps you stay comfortable across the day, and the non-smoking environment makes it easier for everyone to breathe easy. When everyone wants to slow down, board games and puzzles provide a low-key way to spend time together without needing to leave the house. For meals, the BBQ facilities and outdoor furniture make it simple to eat al fresco and linger as the light changes over the surrounding landscape.

If you’re planning excursions, Carcabuey’s Castillo de Carcabuey is about 6 km away, while the Cueva de los Murciélagos is roughly 9 km from the property. The Sierras Subbéticas Natural Park, around 10 km out, is the key draw for walking and viewpoints, especially for guests who like to combine short drives with longer countryside routes.

This is best for families and small groups who value privacy, a rural pace, and practical comforts, rather than a hotel-style setup. Check-in runs from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with check-out at 12:00 PM.
