Cortijo Rodeo. Alojamiento Rural, Carcabuey

Cortijo Rodeo. Alojamiento Rural is a rural stay in Carcabuey, Córdoba, set at Lugar López, 10, where the pace slows and the landscape does the entertaining. With a guest rating of 9.4/10 from nine reviews, visitors consistently describe it as calm and comfortable, with hosts who make the rural setting feel easy to enjoy. The heated pool and the shallow end are frequently mentioned as practical touches for downtime, while the terrace and BBQ facilities suit long, unhurried evenings outdoors. Air conditioning helps when temperatures rise, and the property’s non-smoking environment is appreciated by guests who prefer cleaner indoor air.

This is the kind of place that works especially well for families and groups who want space, privacy, and a base for exploring the Subbéticas countryside. If you’re travelling with pets, the hotel allows them, which is a deciding factor for many reviewers who don’t want to leave companions behind. The check-in window is broad, so late arrivals are generally manageable, and the setting is quiet enough that you can hear the outdoors rather than traffic.

From here, it’s about 2 km to the Castillo de Carcabuey and roughly 10 km to Sierras Subbéticas Natural Park, giving you both a cultural stop and big-sky hiking scenery within reach. For a day trip rhythm, pair a morning visit to the historic castle area with afternoon pool time, then finish with a BBQ when the light turns softer.
