Hostal 7 Soles, Las Palmas De Gran Canaria

Hostal 7 Soles is a simple, budget-focused stay in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain, suited to travellers who want a practical base rather than a resort-style setup. Guests typically describe the experience as straightforward and friendly, with solo visitors appreciating the easy rhythm of coming and going and families liking the calm, no-fuss feel. The hostal’s exact address isn’t provided here, but it’s positioned for quick access to the city’s most walkable areas, including the Las Canteras beachfront zone. From there, it’s about 1 km to Playa de Las Canteras and roughly 1.5 km to the Museo Elder de la Ciencia y la Tecnología, making day plans easy to assemble on foot. For a change of pace, the historic Vegueta district is around 2.5 km away, where you can trade beach time for old streets and local atmosphere. Reviewers often mention that the surrounding area helps compensate for the hostal’s pared-down style: you can step out for evening strolls along the promenade and choose from nearby Canarian dining without needing lengthy transport. If you’re travelling on a tight schedule, the location is especially useful for mixing beach time with museum visits and old-town wandering. Overall, Hostal 7 Soles works best for budget-minded couples, solo explorers, and families who prioritize location and a welcoming, no-frills stay over extra on-site services.
