Casa do Areal, Laxe

Casa do Areal is a spacious holiday home in Laxe, Spain, set on Praza do Areal, making it a practical base for exploring the Costa da Morte coastline. With a guest rating of 9.4/10 from five reviews, the strongest theme is how comfortable and well-managed the stay feels for groups who want space and an easy routine. The property is non-smoking throughout, which helps keep indoor air fresh, and it also allows pets, so travelers aren’t forced to choose between comfort and bringing their animals. Cleaning is handled by professional companies, and rooms are disinfected between stays and sealed after cleaning, which many visitors find reassuring when they’re traveling with family.

Inside, the layout suits shared trips where everyone can spread out, and the kitchen and living areas make it easier to eat together rather than rely entirely on restaurants. A flat-screen TV in the lounge gives everyone a common place to unwind after time outdoors. For orientation, Praia de Soesto is about 1.2 km away and Laxe Town Center is roughly 0.5 km, so you can alternate between beach time and short walks for everyday needs. If you’re planning a day around the coast, the wider Costa da Morte viewpoints are within reach, and Punta do Boi is around 6 km for scenery-focused outings.

Casa do Areal is best for families and small groups who want a calm, non-smoking base with pet-friendly flexibility, plus the confidence of professional cleaning between stays.
