Casa Manuela, Vera Overview
Casa Manuela is located in Vera, Spain. Rated 6.9 out of 10 based on 2 guest reviews.
Casa Manuela is a family-oriented hotel in Vera, Spain, set on 2 Calle Tomillo where you can base yourself for both town life and beach days. With a guest rating of 6.9/10 from two reviews, it’s best approached as a practical, low-key stay rather than a polished, high-scoring resort. Guests mention comfortable indoor downtime, which makes sense given the air conditioning and the option to unwind in the hot tub or sauna after a day in the sun. The swimming pool and terrace add a welcome change of pace when you want to stay close to the property.
Location matters here: Vera Castle is about 1 km away, so history and views are easy to reach on foot or by a short drive. El Playazo Beach is roughly 3 km from Casa Manuela, ideal for swimming and relaxed coastal walks. If you’re planning day trips, the wider Mojácar area is also within reach, giving you a mix of beach and old-town atmosphere.
Room-wise, the hotel’s non-smoking policy and family rooms are a good fit for groups that need simple, functional comfort. Offsite parking is available with discounted rates, which can reduce stress if you’re arriving by car. Check-in runs from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, so plan your arrival accordingly.
Overall, Casa Manuela suits families and solo travelers who value a calm base with wellness-style extras like the hot tub and sauna, and who are comfortable keeping expectations aligned with its modest review score.

Should You Book Casa Manuela?
Worth considering only if you’re looking for a practical, family-friendly base in Vera and can accept a modest guest score (6.9/10 from 2 reviews). The positives are the range of on-site relaxation options and the convenient access to both town and nearby beach and sights, but the limited review sample makes it a lower-confidence pick.
Best For
- Families needing non-smoking rooms and family room options with on-site downtime (pool, hot tub/Jacuzzi, sauna)
- Travelers who want a calm base for both town life and beach days, with El Playazo Beach about 3 km away
- Golf-focused visitors planning trips to Desert Springs Golf Club (about 5 km)
- Groups or couples who value air conditioning and an elevator/lift for easier movement within the property
Not Ideal For
- Anyone who wants a consistently high-quality stay based on strong review volume, since the rating is based on only 2 reviews
- Travelers who strongly prioritize premium, polished resort standards rather than a low-key, practical experience
- Guests who need very flexible check-in timing, since check-in is limited to 04:00 PM–08:00 PM
What to Expect
You arrive to a low-key, family-oriented setup on Calle Tomillo in Vera, with the expectation of a straightforward base rather than a high-end resort. Days can be split between town time and short trips toward the coast, with El Playazo Beach roughly 3 km away. When you’re back, the on-site pool and wellness options like the hot tub/Jacuzzi and sauna can fill the downtime. With only a couple of reviews to go on, the overall impression is best treated as “good enough for a practical stay,” not a guaranteed standout.
