La Plaza, Zuheros Overview
La Plaza is located in Zuheros, Spain. Rated 8.8 out of 10 based on 22 guest reviews.
La Plaza is a small, welcoming base in Zuheros, Spain, set at 3 Calle Horno and well suited to travelers who want to spend their days outdoors and their evenings close to village life. With a guest rating of 8.8/10 from 22 reviews, it’s the kind of place where consistency matters: guests commonly mention comfortable indoor temperatures thanks to air conditioning and appreciate the practicality of free wired internet for checking plans or maps. The hotel also works for those traveling with pets, which can make a big difference when you’re exploring the Sierras Subbéticas at your own pace.
Location is the main draw. Zuheros Castle is about 1 km away, so you can reach it without building a full day around transport, and the Cueva de los Murciélagos is roughly 2 km from the hotel for a memorable cave visit. If you’re planning longer walks, the Parque Natural Sierras Subbéticas sits around 10 km out, giving you room to choose gentle routes or more demanding countryside trails.
Check-in runs from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM, so it suits itineraries that start sightseeing in the afternoon and wrap up before late mornings. Non-smoking throughout helps keep the atmosphere fresh, and the overall feel is calm rather than hectic—ideal for couples seeking a quiet getaway, families who want a straightforward base, and solo explorers who prefer to move at their own tempo.
