Should You Book Merveil Luxury Suites - Florentin I-II?
Not worth booking based on the extremely low guest rating (2/10 from 5 reviews). Even with a central, elegant location, the review score suggests a high risk of an unsatisfactory stay.
Best For
- Solo explorers who prioritize a central Paris address and are comfortable taking a chance despite very low review scores
- Couples looking for a quiet, comfortable base near major sights, provided they can be flexible and manage expectations
- Guests who value free WiFi and coworking spaces for light work between outings
- Travelers who need wheelchair accessibility and an accessible shuttle option, noting that the listing also indicates “No accessible shuttle” so they should confirm availability before booking
Not Ideal For
- Anyone who relies on consistently positive guest experiences, given the 2/10 rating across 5 reviews
- Travelers who require an accessible shuttle, because the information conflicts (“Accessible shuttle” vs “No accessible shuttle”)
- Groups or travelers expecting strong reliability from a property with very limited review volume (only 5 reviews)
What to Expect
You arrive at 13 Rue Saint-Florentin in a central, upscale-feeling part of Paris, with the promise of an elegant retreat and modern conveniences. The area is positioned for walking access to major landmarks, including Sainte-Chapelle (about 2 km) and the Musée d'Orsay (about 1.8 km), so your days can be built around sightseeing on foot. In the morning, you can start with free WiFi and use the coworking spaces if you need to catch up before heading out. However, with only five reviews and a 2/10 rating, the stay experience is likely to be inconsistent, and you should expect potential issues that reviewers flagged.
Location Intelligence
The location is well placed for classic central sights: Sainte-Chapelle (~2 km), Musée d'Orsay (~1.8 km), and Notre-Dame Cathedral (~3 km) are within a reasonable distance for sightseeing. For airport planning, Orly is the closest at about 16 km, while Charles de Gaulle is about 25 km; Beauvais-Tillé is much farther at about 70 km. Because the review score is very low, it’s especially important to confirm practical needs like shuttle accessibility before committing.
