Should You Book Residence Paris Pelee?
Do not book based on the available evidence. With a 2/10 guest rating from only 1 review, the risk of an unpleasant stay is too high relative to what you can likely find elsewhere in Paris.
Best For
- Travelers who need wheelchair accessibility and want to stay in the 11th arrondissement
- Families traveling with children who prefer a residence-style setup with furnished kitchens
- Guests who want to be within walking distance of Canal Saint-Martin (about 1 km) and can plan around a central-but-not-most-iconic location
- Travelers who value proximity to major sights like Place des Vosges (2 km), Notre-Dame Cathedral (3 km), and the Louvre (4 km) for day trips
Not Ideal For
- Anyone who relies on consistently positive guest feedback, since the rating is extremely low (2/10) based on a single review
- Travelers who need an accessible shuttle, because the provided info conflicts on whether an accessible shuttle is available
- Skeptical planners who want more than minimal review data before committing, since there is only one review to judge from
What to Expect
Check-in would likely feel straightforward for a residence-style stay, and the area around 1 Rue Pelée in the 11th arrondissement is described as vibrant. You could start your day with a kitchen-based routine given the fully furnished kitchens, then walk out toward Canal Saint-Martin (about 1 km) for a change of scenery. The nearby sightseeing options are within a reasonable walking range for Paris highlights like Place des Vosges, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and the Louvre. However, the guest rating is very poor (2/10) based on just one review, so the experience may not match expectations.
Location Intelligence
The hotel’s location at Rue Pelée places you close to Canal Saint-Martin (about 1 km) and within walking distance of major landmarks such as Place des Vosges (2 km), Notre-Dame Cathedral (3 km), and the Louvre (4 km). If you’re flying in, Charles de Gaulle is about 25 km away and Orly about 16 km, so plan transfers accordingly. No transport specifics are provided beyond the shuttle accessibility note, so confirm access needs before booking.
