Elpidas Apartment is a comfortable base for visitors to Athens, Greece, with a strong guest score of 8.9/10 from 68 reviews. Set on Γεωργίου Ολυμπίου (14 Γεωργίου Ολυμπίου), it suits travelers who want a quieter indoor retreat while still staying within reach of the city’s top sights. The apartment’s soundproof rooms and non-smoking policy are repeatedly valued by guests who mention better sleep after busy days, and air conditioning helps keep things comfortable during warm afternoons.
Location matters here: you’re about 1 km from the Acropolis Museum and roughly 1.5 km from the Plaka district, so it’s realistic to plan museum time by day and dinner strolls by evening. For landmark lovers, the Acropolis is around 1.2 km away, while the Temple of Olympian Zeus sits at about 2.0 km, making it easy to string together major stops without long transfers. A terrace adds a simple, practical place to unwind with a quiet moment between outings.
Standout for many reviewers is the hot tub/Jacuzzi, described as a welcome reset after walking Athens’ hills, and the lift/elevator is appreciated for smoother access when coming back with bags. Express check-in/check-out also tends to be mentioned as a time-saver. Family rooms make it a sensible option for groups needing flexibility, while couples and solo explorers often like the calm, apartment-style setup.
Overall, Elpidas Apartment works best for guests who prioritize comfort, sound insulation, and a relaxed recovery space after sightseeing, with the convenience of nearby metro access.
