Merilyn Central Apartment, Athens

Merilyn Central Apartment is a practical Athens, Greece base for travelers who want to be close to the city’s major sights while keeping an apartment-style stay. Located at 68 Markou Mpotsari, it suits guests who prefer having a kitchen for simple meals and a bit more independence than a standard hotel setup. The apartment’s express check-in and express check-out can help if your plans are tight, and the elevator makes day-to-day movement easier. If you’re driving, note that offsite parking reservations are required, so it’s worth arranging this before you arrive. The property also has a designated smoking area, which can matter for guests who smoke.

In terms of location, you’re within a short ride of key landmarks such as the Acropolis (about 2.3 km), the Temple of Olympian Zeus (around 2.1 km), and the Acropolis Museum (about 2.0 km). For a broader city stroll, Syntagma Square is roughly 3 km away, and Plaka’s historic lanes are about 3 km from the apartment.

Customer feedback is limited, with a very low guest rating of 2/10 based on two reviews, so this is best approached with caution. With so few reviews, it’s hard to confirm consistency from one stay to the next, and some travelers may find the lack of detailed feedback a deal-breaker. On the plus side, the apartment format and family-friendly policy make it a reasonable option for families who value in-stay meal flexibility and want to explore Athens at their own pace.
