Country House Spitaki Λόχος, Velika

Country House Spitaki Λόχος is a countryside stay in Velika, Greece, suited to travelers who want a quieter base with the coast close by. The property sits in the Βελίκα area, and it’s a short drive or walk to Velika Beach, so you can switch between sea time and mountain air without changing towns. Guests consistently rate the experience highly, with the small number of reviews praising the calm atmosphere and the practical comfort of the stay. Families and couples both tend to like the outdoor rhythm here: BBQ facilities for simple evenings, a terrace for downtime, and air conditioning when the weather turns warm.

If you’re planning day trips, Mount Olympus is about 30 km away and is the big draw for hiking and panoramic viewpoints. For a local cultural stop, Agios Nikolaos Church is roughly 1.5–2 km from the property, making it easy to fit into an afternoon walk. The hotel also lists family rooms and non-smoking rooms, which helps when group members have different needs. Pets are allowed, which can matter for travelers who don’t want to leave companions behind.

On-site dining is available via the restaurant, and offsite parking is offered with discounted rates, which is useful if you’re touring the wider area. There’s also a nightclub on the property, so this is best for guests who are comfortable with the idea of some nightlife energy rather than a strictly silent retreat. Overall, Country House Spitaki Λόχος works best for couples, families, and pet owners looking for a relaxed Velika base with easy access to beach and mountains.
