Alojamiento Micaela, Alhaurín De La Torre

Alojamiento Micaela is a homestay-style stay in Alhaurín de la Torre, Spain, set on 18 Calle Lech Walesa and suited to travellers who prefer a quieter base outside the busiest parts of Málaga. With a guest rating of 9.2/10 from 10 reviews, the standout theme is cleanliness and careful hygiene between stays, which matters when you’re sharing common areas. The property also follows local safety protocols, and rooms are disinfected between guests.

Inside, you’ll use a shared lounge/TV area and a shared kitchen, which makes day-to-day life feel more like having a small home base than a hotel-only routine. Outdoor furniture in the garden area gives you somewhere to slow down with a coffee or plan the next outing, especially after time in the surrounding countryside.

The location works well for nature-led itineraries: Sierra de Alhaurín is about 5 km away, and it’s an easy launch point for walks and viewpoints. If your plans include Málaga’s best-known sights, Málaga city centre is roughly 18 km from the property, and major landmarks such as the Picasso Museum and Málaga Cathedral are within that same reach. For a signature day trip, Caminito del Rey is around 25 km away.

Best for solo explorers and couples who want a calm setting, appreciate shared spaces, and value a host-led approach to cleanliness and safety. Guests mention that the overall atmosphere is peaceful, and that the practical setup of the shared kitchen helps when you’d rather eat in than rush out every night.
