Apartamento Gaztelugatxe, Bakio

Apartamento Gaztelugatxe is a 2-bedroom apartment in Bakio, Spain, set on Goitisoloalde, a practical base for exploring the Bay of Biscay coastline. The apartment’s terrace gives you a place to slow down after time outside, and the covered parking and self parking options (with a surcharge) help if you’re arriving by car. Inside, free wired internet and internet access make it easier to plan day trips or check in with work, while the kitchen setup supports simple breakfasts and flexible meal times.

From the reviews available, the overall guest rating is 1/10 based on a single review, so you should treat it as limited feedback rather than a reliable consensus. That said, the most helpful way to judge whether Apartamento Gaztelugatxe fits you is to compare your expectations for an apartment stay with the realities of a residential neighborhood location.

For nearby highlights, Bakio Beach is about 1 km away, so you can reach the shoreline quickly for a morning walk or sunset views. San Juan de Gaztelugatxe is roughly 4 km from the property, offering one of the area’s most famous coastal climbs and viewpoints. If you want a bigger cultural day, the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao is around 30 km away, reachable for a focused itinerary. With pets allowed, it can suit travelers who want to bring a companion along, but it’s best for guests comfortable with apartment-style stays and who plan to spend most of their time on the coast and in nearby towns rather than relying on on-site services.
