The Manor House, Barreda Overview
The Manor House is located in Barreda, Spain. Rated 9.7 out of 10 based on 6 guest reviews.
The Manor House is an adult-only stay in Barreda, Spain, set in Barrio Basieda and designed for guests who want quiet time rather than constant activity. With a guest rating of 9.7/10 from just six reviews, the emphasis shows in the details: private check-in and check-out, a shared lounge/TV area for low-key evenings, and a terrace where you can slow down after a day outdoors. Check-in runs from 04:00 PM to 12:00 AM, so late arrivals are handled within that window, while check-out is at 11:00 AM.
The surrounding area is the real draw, and the tour desk helps you translate that into plans—whether you’re aiming for the Cueva de El Soplao about 30 km away or heading toward the coast for Playa de la Concha roughly 25 km from Barreda. For evenings at the property, the BBQ facilities give you a simple way to eat outdoors, and board games/puzzles in the shared lounge add structure to downtime without needing to go out.
Reviewers mention a calm, adults-only atmosphere and a sense of being looked after, with one common theme being how easy it feels to settle in and then focus on the region. Offsite parking is available with discounted rates, which matters if you’re touring by car through Cantabria’s countryside.
The Manor House is best for couples and solo travelers who prefer a peaceful base, value practical guidance for day trips, and want a pet-friendly option while keeping the environment adult-only.
