The property suits families and small groups particularly well, thanks to family rooms and a terrace where you can reset after a day outdoors.

In reviews, guests frequently mention the quiet, non-smoking environment and the ease of settling in, especially when arriving by car. Free wired internet helps if you need to plan hikes or check schedules, and the hotel’s covered parking and self-parking (for a surcharge) reduce the hassle of finding space in a rural area. For drivers, offsite parking with discounted rates is also available, which can be helpful during busy seasons when the surrounding roads see more traffic.

Location matters here: the Cares Gorge area is about 1 km away, and Picos de Europa National Park is roughly 10 km from the hotel, making day trips feel manageable. Many guests describe their stay as a comfortable staging point for the Ruta del Cares and nearby viewpoints, with the village of Caín close enough for everyday needs.

Check-in runs from 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM, so it works well for early starts on the trails and relaxed mornings back at the terrace.
