NovaCand, Candelario

NovaCand is a small, welcoming stay in Candelario, Spain, set on Calle de Pedro Muñoz Rico (36), a practical base for exploring this mountain town and heading into the Sierra de Béjar. With a guest rating of 10/10 from three reviews, it’s the kind of place where visitors tend to remember the personal touch and the calm, no-fuss atmosphere. The setup suits people who like flexibility: non-smoking rooms, a shared lounge/TV area for downtime, and a shared kitchen that makes longer stays feel easier. For winter trips, ski storage is a real advantage, especially if you’re planning time around La Covatilla Ski Resort, about 13 km away. Families will appreciate the family-room option, while pet owners can travel with their companions since pets are allowed. Solo travelers also find the shared spaces helpful for meeting other guests, without turning the stay into a party. Check-in runs from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, which helps if you arrive after a day on the slopes or a longer drive. Candelario’s historical centre is roughly 1 km from the hotel, so you can reach the main streets on foot for a slow wander and local atmosphere. Nature is close too: Sierra de Béjar begins around 3 km away, making it straightforward to plan hikes or scenic viewpoints. Staff follow local safety protocols, and luggage storage helps you make the most of arrival and departure days. Overall, NovaCand is best for families, pet owners, and outdoor-focused travellers who want a comfortable, community-style base rather than a strictly formal hotel experience.
