Hotel Central Caravaca, Caravaca

Hotel Central Caravaca is a 3-star property in Caravaca, Spain, set on Avenida Gran Via 18, making it a practical base for visitors who want to move through town on foot. The stay is built around the basics done reliably: a free continental breakfast helps you start early, and the 24-hour front desk plus luggage storage make arrival and departures easier when your plans shift. Travelers also mention that the hotel feels calm and straightforward, with guests appreciating the day-to-day convenience rather than any grand frills.

Recent reviewers who scored it 7.6/10 (from a small set of guests) tend to highlight the helpfulness of staff and the convenience of having breakfast included, especially for those squeezing in morning visits. If you’re traveling with a pet, the hotel’s pet-friendly policy is a clear plus, and the elevator adds comfort for guests who prefer not to manage stairs.

For sightseeing, you’re within about 1 km of the Parish Church of El Salvador and the Museo de la Fiesta de Caravaca de la Cruz, both strong anchors for understanding the town’s identity. The Santuario de la Vera Cruz is roughly 1.7 km away for travelers planning a longer walk or a short taxi ride. Those interested in viewpoints and history can aim for the Castle of Caravaca at about 2 km.

Best for solo explorers, couples, and small groups who want a comfortable, low-key base with breakfast and practical services, and who don’t mind that parking is limited.
