La Libélula, El Espinar

La Libélula is a countryside stay in El Espinar, Spain, set at 103 Avenida de Don Pedro Nuñez Morgades, where the focus is on downtime after time in the Sierra de Guadarrama. The property suits travellers who want space to unwind: you can soak in the hot tub/Jacuzzi, cook outdoors using the BBQ facilities, and then return to a terrace for quieter moments. Families are catered for with family rooms, and the layout is designed for groups who appreciate practical comfort rather than formality. Pets are allowed, which makes it easier to bring the whole household on a mountain break.

Location-wise, you’re well placed for day trips and nature time. Sierra de Guadarrama National Park is about 10 km away for hikes and fresh-air walks, while Segovia’s historic highlights like the Alcázar de Segovia sit roughly 15 km from the hotel. If you’re planning to see the Segovia Aqueduct and cathedral, expect similar travel times into town.

Guest feedback is notably strong, with a 9.5/10 score based on a small set of reviews, and the themes are consistent: cleanliness and careful health practices matter here. The hotel states that guest rooms are disinfected between stays and that enhanced cleaning standards are effective against Coronavirus, with staff adhering to local safety protocols and physical distancing rules followed. In practice, that translates to a calmer arrival and a more confident stay for visitors who are sensitive to hygiene. Check-in runs from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, so plan your arrival window accordingly.
