Buen Paso, Icod De Los Vinos

Buen Paso is a quiet base in Icod de los Vinos, Spain, set along 42 TF-342 where the pace slows and the views feel more countryside than resort. With a guest rating of 9.7/10 from 45 reviews, it’s the kind of place travelers describe as calm and well cared for, including reports of a peaceful Japanese garden where many guests spend time between outings. Check-in runs from 03:00 PM to 11:30 PM and check-out is 11:30 AM, so plan around a late afternoon arrival if you’re coming from elsewhere on Tenerife.

The setting suits couples and solo travelers most, especially those who want non-smoking rooms, a tranquil atmosphere, and the option to bring pets. For guests who arrive by car, offsite parking with discounted rates and covered parking help simplify the logistics, while self parking is available for a surcharge. Rooms are non-smoking throughout, and guest rooms are disinfected between stays, which is reassuring for travelers prioritizing cleanliness.

You can build days around nearby landmarks: Parque del Drago is about 1 km away, and Playa de San Marcos is roughly 2 km from the property, making it easy to mix heritage and sea air. If you’re planning a private moment outdoors, the Japanese garden and private picnics are a standout detail that guests mention as a memorable touch.
