Maresía Canteras Urban Hotel, Las Palmas

Maresía Canteras Urban Hotel is a practical 3-star base in Las Palmas, Spain, set on León Tolstoi, 1, an address that works well if you want to move on foot. The standout advantage here is location: Las Canteras Beach is about 0.5 km away and Parque de Santa Catalina is roughly 1 km, so you can fit in sea views, people-watching, and evening walks without planning transport. Guests consistently rate the hotel highly, with a 9.2/10 score from 470 reviews, and many mention that check-in runs smoothly and the staff are responsive when you need help. Rooms are non-smoking, and the hotel emphasizes hygiene with guest rooms disinfected between stays and cleaning standards designed to be effective against Coronavirus. For travelers who like flexibility, express check-in/check-out can save time on arrival and departure. There’s also a terrace where you can step out for fresh air, and the lift makes it easier to come and go with luggage. If you’re planning culture as well as beach time, Museo Elder de la Ciencia y la Tecnología is around 2 km away, and the area around the port and city centre is within a short ride or longer walk depending on your pace. This hotel is best for solo explorers and couples who prefer an urban rhythm—short distances, easy sightseeing, and a straightforward stay—rather than a property that feels remote or resort-like. It’s also road-trip friendly in the sense that it suits independent travelers, but note that parking is not available on site, so plan accordingly if you’re driving.
