Ca Luena, Llanuces

Ca Luena is a countryside chalet in Llanuces, Spain, set along the Carretera AS-230 Km 7.5 Cantu El Grandizu, where the pace slows and the landscape does the talking. With a guest rating of 9.9/10 from nine reviews, the strongest theme is comfort and calm: travellers mention soundproof rooms that help them sleep well after days in the Picos de Europa area. The terrace is a natural gathering point, and the BBQ facilities make it easy to turn an evening in into something a little more special without needing to leave the property.

This is a stay that suits families and couples who want space, plus pet owners, since pets are allowed and family rooms are available. Guests also highlight the human touch behind the scenes, including guest education on local ecosystems and culture via the tour desk, which can be especially helpful if you’re planning hikes or want context for what you’ll see. If you’re travelling with luggage, there’s luggage storage to keep arrival and departure smoother.

For nearby outings, Picos de Europa National Park is about 30 km away, offering dramatic scenery and day-trip routes. Plaza de España in the Cangas de Onís area is roughly 10 km from the chalet, a good anchor for a first taste of local life. Llanuces itself is close enough for short, low-effort walks, while the broader Cangas de Onís region sits within easy reach for viewpoints and countryside trails.

Overall, Ca Luena feels tailored to travellers who value quiet nights, practical on-site support, and a deeper connection to the natural surroundings rather than a busy, urban itinerary.
