Hostal Escapa-T is a 2-star hotel in Salamanca, Spain. Rated 4.8 out of 10 based on 5 guest reviews.

Hostal Escapa-T is a small, 2-star hostal in Salamanca, Spain, set on Calle Maria Auxiliadora, 13 in the city’s historic area. With only a handful of rooms, it suits travelers who prefer a quieter, more personal base rather than a large hotel atmosphere. The property is smoke-free, which helps keep shared spaces more comfortable for guests who are sensitive to odors.

Location matters here: Salamanca’s headline sights are within easy reach on foot. Plaza Mayor is about a 10-minute walk (around 0.8 km), and the New Cathedral sits roughly 1.3 km away, making it practical for early visits before crowds. The historic Universidad de Salamanca is around 1.5 km from the hostal, so you can plan a focused day around the university buildings and surrounding streets.

Guest feedback is mixed but leaning positive for a budget stay. With a 4.8/10 score from five reviews, several recent visitors mention the value for money and the straightforward, no-fuss feel that works well for short breaks. At the same time, the small review count means experiences can vary more than at larger properties, so it’s wise to consider your expectations for a basic, budget-focused stay.

Best for solo explorers and couples who want to walk Salamanca’s historic core, keep things simple, and prioritize a smoke-free environment over extra on-site services.
