Apartamentos el Motor Tejeda, Tejeda

Apartamentos el Motor Tejeda is a family-friendly apartment-style stay in Tejeda, Spain, aimed at travellers who want space, privacy, and an easy base for exploring Gran Canaria’s interior. Located on C/Doctor Domingo Hernandez Guerra 25, it suits guests who prefer to come and go at their own pace, especially on road trips through the island. The standout feedback is the consistently excellent guest rating of 9.9/10 from 50 reviews, which points to reliable comfort and smooth stays.

Inside, air conditioning helps you reset after warm days, while the terrace gives you a place to unwind with the landscape in mind. Family rooms and non-smoking areas make it straightforward for mixed-group travel, and private check-in/check-out adds a calmer rhythm to arrival and departure. For active guests, the property also includes an electric bicycle charging station, a small detail that matters if you’re planning longer rides around the Tejeda area.

The location works best for nature lovers and hikers: Roque Nublo is about 5 km away, and the Caldera de Tejeda is roughly 8 km from the apartments. You can also build a day around nearby viewpoints and the Tejeda village centre, returning for a quieter evening rather than staying in a busier coastal area. Several recent visitors mention that having a kitchen setup and the ability to manage meals locally makes the stay feel practical for longer itineraries, not just a quick stop.
