Should You Book Hotel Inn Design Paris Place d'italie?
Worth considering if you want a solid 3-star base in Paris with strong guest satisfaction (8.3/10 from 4,498 reviews), especially for families and travelers bringing pets. It’s a practical choice for accessing major sights, though it’s not positioned as the most central option for the very top landmarks.
Best For
- Families looking for a welcoming stay with family rooms and child-friendly policies
- Pet owners who want a hotel that explicitly allows pets
- Budget-conscious travelers who still want reliable quality reflected in consistently high review scores
- Travelers who prefer a straightforward, amenity-focused hotel with air conditioning and accessibility support
Not Ideal For
- Travelers seeking the most central, walk-to-everything location for Champs-Élysées, Opéra Garnier, Notre-Dame, and the Louvre
- Light sleepers who may be sensitive to the general bustle of a major Paris boulevard area (no specific noise issue is stated, but the address is on a busy thoroughfare)
What to Expect
You arrive to a straightforward, modern 3-star setup with non-smoking rooms and air conditioning to keep things comfortable. The surrounding area feels like a lived-in Paris neighborhood, with Butte aux Cailles described as a nearby village atmosphere, making it easy to get a local feel on walks. From here, you can plan day trips toward major sights like the Champs-Élysées, Opéra Garnier, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and the Louvre Museum. Guests’ high rating suggests the stay is generally dependable and welcoming, particularly for families and pet travelers.
Location Intelligence
The hotel is about 12 km from Paris Orly Airport and roughly 30 km from Charles de Gaulle, which can help you choose your arrival plan. While major attractions are within reach, they’re several kilometers away (Champs-Élysées 4.5 km, Opéra Garnier 5 km, Notre-Dame 5.5 km, Louvre 6 km), so expect some travel time rather than purely walking everywhere. Butte aux Cailles is nearby, offering a more neighborhood-style experience close to your base.
