Villa Alexandra, Mykonos

Villa Alexandra is a 3-star stay in Mykonos, Greece, aimed at travelers who want an easy base for exploring the island’s most walkable sights. Customer feedback commonly highlights the welcoming, homely feel, with guests noting that staff are approachable and help make short stays feel unhurried. The property’s location suits couples and solo explorers who prefer to spend their time in Mykonos Town rather than commuting across the island. From here, you can reach Little Venice in about 1.2 km and the Windmills of Mykonos in roughly 1.5 km, making it practical for sunset plans and daytime wandering. Mykonos Town’s lanes are also close enough for an evening stroll, so you can move between dining and sightseeing without relying on taxis. For beach time, Platis Gialos Beach is around 3 km away, which is useful if you want a more traditional sandy shoreline after time in the town. Reviews frequently mention that the atmosphere is calm and restful compared with the busiest nightlife streets, which helps guests recharge between outings. One thing repeat visitors tend to appreciate is the balance of being near the action while still feeling like a private retreat at the end of the day. If you’re planning a flexible itinerary—museum visits, waterfront walks, and beach hopping—Villa Alexandra fits well as a simple, friendly base in Mykonos.
