San Miguel, Almería

San Miguel is a small, guest-favorite hotel in Almería, Spain, set on 23 Calle Joaquín Vázquez. With a standout guest rating of 9.9/10 from 23 reviews, it’s the kind of place where travelers tend to notice the details: rooms are non-smoking, air conditioning helps in warmer months, and the property keeps cleaning standards effective against coronavirus. Rooms are disinfected between stays, and staff follow local safety protocols, which is the sort of reassurance many guests mention when they’re comparing options.

Location matters here, too. The historic Alcazaba of Almería is about 1.5 km away, and Playa de la Almadrabilla sits roughly 2 km from the hotel, so you can mix fortress views with sea breezes without long transfers. The tour desk is useful if you want help shaping a day around the city rather than relying on guesswork.

San Miguel also works well for people traveling with pets, since pets are allowed, and there’s a lift for easier access to rooms. Offsite parking is available with discounted rates, which helps if you’re arriving by car.

Based on guest feedback, the overall experience is calm and well managed, with visitors praising the cleanliness and the helpfulness of the team.
