Apartamento Guou, Comillas

Apartamento Guou is a Comillas, Spain stay that suits travellers who want independence while still being close to the coast. Located on Paseo de Rovacías 36, it’s a practical base for exploring the town at an easy pace, with Playa de Comillas about 1.1 km away and El Capricho de Gaudí roughly 1.5 km from the apartment. The terrace and outdoor furniture make it easier to slow down after day trips, whether you’re coming back from the shoreline or returning from Comillas’ historic streets.

The apartment is non-smoking throughout, and the property highlights health-focused processes between guests, including guest rooms disinfected between stays and the room being sealed after cleaning. Contactless check-in and check-out are available, and staff follow local safety protocols. If you’re the kind of guest who notices cleanliness details, the overall score of 9.4/10 from 13 reviews suggests visitors consistently value the care taken with the space.

In terms of what to do nearby, plan your sightseeing around the best-known landmarks: start with El Capricho de Gaudí, then work your way toward the beach and coastal viewpoints, and use Comillas as a launch point for longer excursions to Picos de Europa National Park, about 35 km away. This is best for couples, small groups, and families who prefer a quieter, self-contained set-up rather than a hotel schedule, and who want a reliable, well-maintained base for both beach time and culture.
