Can Alonso, Palma De Mallorca

Can Alonso is a 3-star hotel in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, suited to travelers who want an easy base for exploring the city without being far from its main sights. Guests consistently mention the welcoming, homey feel and the practical comfort of the rooms, with many valuing the simple rhythm of a good breakfast before heading out.

If you’re planning days around Palma’s landmarks, the location helps: the Cathedral of Santa Maria (La Seu) is about 1.5 km away, while Mercat de l’Olivar is roughly 1 km from the hotel for fresh produce, local snacks, and a lively slice of everyday life. The historic lanes of the Old Town are also around 1 km out, making it straightforward to plan a morning walk and then return for a slower afternoon. For a change of pace, Bellver Castle is approximately 3 km away, offering a different viewpoint over the city.

Reviewers often describe the stay as low-key and comfortable rather than flashy, which tends to suit couples looking for a romantic city break, families who want to keep travel days short, and solo explorers who prefer to do most things on foot. In practice, this is the kind of place where the quiet street setting and the breakfast routine matter as much as the sightseeing distances.
