Villa Moritz, Santa Úrsula

Villa Moritz is a private retreat in Santa Úrsula, Spain, set on Calle Vista Paraíso where the pace slows and the views do the work. With a guest rating of 9.9/10 from 15 reviews, it’s the kind of place travelers describe as calm and well cared for, with hosts who help make stays feel straightforward. The villa suits groups who want space to spread out, and it’s especially well matched to families thanks to family rooms and the ability to gather without crowding. After a day around Puerto de la Cruz, many guests mention unwinding at the sauna, then stepping out to the terrace for a quieter end to the evening. For meals in, the kitchen setup and BBQ facilities make it easy to keep everyone on the same schedule, whether you’re planning a simple dinner or a longer get-together. Non-smoking rooms and non-smoking throughout help keep the indoor air fresh, which matters for travelers sensitive to smells. If you’re bringing a pet, Villa Moritz allows pets, so you don’t have to compromise on who comes along. Practical touches like a safety deposit box add peace of mind, and board games/puzzles are on hand for low-key nights when the weather turns. Location-wise, the area works well as a base for exploring nearby highlights such as Taoro Park (about 10 km), the Botanical Gardens in La Orotava (about 11 km), and Loro Parque (about 13 km), while Teide National Park is within day-trip reach (around 43 km). Offsite parking is available with discounted rates, which helps if you’re traveling by car.
