Villa Nautilus, Plaka Naxos, by NaxosVibe, Naxos Chora

Villa Nautilus, Plaka Naxos, by NaxosVibe is a private stay in Naxos Chora, Greece, suited to travelers who want space and a calmer rhythm than the island’s busier town streets. The villa is set in the Plaka area at Plaka Naxos, where you can move between quiet beach time and day trips without feeling tied to a single resort strip. Guests typically mention the practical comfort of air conditioning during warmer hours and the ease of contactless check-in and check-out for smoother arrivals. The terrace and BBQ facilities are a big part of the appeal, giving you a place to eat outdoors when the evening light turns soft. Pets are allowed, which is useful for families and couples traveling with dogs or cats, and the property is non-smoking throughout, so indoor air stays fresh.

Based on what past visitors tend to share, the layout works well for small groups who want separate living space while still gathering together, and the mountain views add a scenic backdrop to everyday downtime. If you’re planning sightseeing, the Portara (Gate of Apollo) and Naxos Castle are both about 7 km away, making it straightforward to reach the historic core for sunset or evening strolls. For beach hopping, Plaka Beach is roughly 1.6 km from the villa, and that short distance is often cited as a reason people choose the Plaka side of the island. For families, the combination of outdoor space and a quieter setting helps keep days flexible; for couples, it’s a comfortable base between swims and dinners in Naxos Chora.
